It’s best to be prepared to run out and rescue your roommates from creepos (it also makes would-be robbers think twice when your apartment has a good weapons collection).
I’m curious as to where she got the armor as well. I mean, if it’s cosplay, then why did she bother to waste time putting it on if her friend’s in trouble…?

I think she popped out of nowhere, and thus that real sword comes from the same place Ashley is lost in. Which I think means that she has already rescued Ashley… and has some information about the Pim to give to Nikki.
