Greetings, just a follow uo to comments from the last week. I think what the poster was refering to about voteing insentives is this. If you go over to Top Web Comics and vote for Nikki, you get a THanks for voteing for Nikki message and off you go. Now if you vote for certain other comics, ( and yes you can vote for more then one) for instance “TwoKinds” its generally about 3 rd or 4 th, once youve placed your vote you get the thanks message but you also get to see a piece of art that wound up not getting used that week in the comic, or maybe a single full screen shot of one of your favorite characters, and only folks that vote for Nikki would get to see this piece, not sure what it takes to up load it etc, as far as extra work, but it does seem to work towards moving your favorites nearer the top, hope this helps if there was any confusion, and keep up the magnificent work.
@ozzimandius-OR in the case of Goblins, which is currently #1 i think, you usually get an unfinished single frame of the next update, seems to work well as well
Thanks for the suggestions/corrections. I was born without the spelling gene, so I appreciate being alerted to spelling errors. While I was fixing “assaulted” I also took care of the policeman’s eyes in the bottom panel and the scooter’s side mirror. Ozzimandius, I’ll think about the TWC vote incentive… not really sure how to set it up, but I certainly have an ample supply of unused images that I could offer up. Speaking of voting: everyone please take a moment to click on Talona’s image in the upper left sidebar and cast your vote by clicking the “I’d buy it as a toy” button (you’re not actually ordering anything). …I’ll post a separate blog entry shortly with more information. -TK

My 2 cents as regards to the voting incentive is what you mentioned yourself, TK, those “unused images.” Of course I’m hoping they’ll be as spicy as the teases I’ve seen on DA, but that’s me. I vote for Nikki regardless but offering up a gift for those of us that promote you is a nice idea.

Yeah, that cop’s face looks amazing. I definitely hope we’ll see more of him in the future.
And this whole story will someday give me a heart attack… we’re moving from one cliffhanger to the next.

In the third and fifth panel, the cop looks like he’s looking past Nikki rather than at her. Almost as if he were blind.
Oh, and the mirror on the scooter is still showing that random endless road. =P

Footnote: but if this Talona design would really end up being sold as a statuette (not a toy), I would definitely be interested!
