Thank you to everyone who kept checking up on Nikki during my absence. I’m blown away that some of you actually continued to vote in spite of the lack of updates. I should have at least dropped a note now and then -if only, as Dethwarm suggested, to say that I’m alive lol- and I apologize for my silence. The good news is that I have several new pages done and the first one is loaded for 1/5! The bad news is that I still have a pretty brutal work schedule, so I don’t know how often I’ll be forced away from the comic in the coming year. Looking ahead, I would like to go back and revise/improve some of the pages when I reach a natural break in the story line. I’ve been approached by an app developer who wants to create iPad and Android versions of the comic, but that will require re-editing some of the pages and committing to regular, scheduled updates. I also hope to investigate other revenue possibilities -such as a premium version for a small subscription, or producing a print copy of the first issue. (Don’t worry -the main comic will remain free.) I’m also working on a second comic -“Zoey and the Zombies”- which is a little more graphic and which I will preview here. Not sure when any of these plans will reach fruition since work has a way of derailing things, but I hope for the best in 2012. I wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year! -TK

I can fully identify with the work takeing you away from things end of it Brother, considering I once was a 1.5 – 2 hour a day peruser of the web and am now down to aprox that much a week. Hence the fact that it took me this long to realize your back. Hope all is well and Nikki is back on the top of my viewing list 🙂
