I agree with Lela on both points: Nikki’s sudden love is suspect and Pita’s bellybutton IS crazy high in that panel.
I also must agree that we’re getting the “edited for TV” version. Makes me want to wait for the “Unrated Director’s Cut.” (That said, I do like the comic for more than just the boobies!)
Maybe we should make a petition for the director’s cut of the last scenes…

They kissed, while Nikki was asleep (and dreaming of Kib) and Pita was naked, but that’s as far as it went.
I had actually glossed over that “age 14” thing. Are you sure you don’t want to edge that up into a safer (a.k.a. legal) range, TK? I think we could all have more fun that way (Pita too!).
