Love the reflections in Pita’s helmet in the last panel. Great render. Now, if you can get the elite morphs and do away with those wonky shoulder joints. . .
Now you know Pita’s gotta be loving the chance to put her arms around Nikki’s waist while she’s so skimpily dressed. Though you’d think Nikki would kind of notice the way Pita’s hands keep wandering around over her sexy bare stomach like that. 😉
Great job with the town (looks like a swell place) and the speed lines! As I’ve said before, your attention to page breakdown and panel detail is commendable. But I’d also like to say that I’m a huge fan of Nikki’s fashion sense! Hoo-boy! She will be leaving a few traffic snares in her wake for sure!
I have to agree with previous posters… the town turned out great, and the reflection in the helm also looks amazing.
And you sure do know how to leave keep us on the edge of our seats, looking forward to the next page!
One small thing that doesn’t completely seem to fit, is the reflection in the side mirrors of the scooter… they’re in the middle of town, on a small winding road, and the mirrors both show a straight stretch of road with no trees or houses in sight!?!
@Lunaroki: you *did* notice that Pita’s arms/hands in the second and third panel are just mirrored? I’m not sure if this was actually supposed to imply that Pita’s hands are wandering, or if we’re just looking at a mirror image of the couple in the exact same position as in the second panel…
Thanks for all of the comments -very enjoyable! Regarding Nikki’s outfit: she made up a trip to he beach as an excuse to go to Mr. Donnelley’s apartment, so she dressed for the part -even though Kib’s spell has suddenly made her loose romantic interest in her teacher. Melissa, you’re right about the side mirror reflections. I noticed them but didn’t think others would. I’ll add those to my list of things to go back and fix once part 1 is complete. Docsmith, I have the elite morphs… didn’t know I could correct shoulders with them. (I do run SimpleDetails to correct the upper arms.) TekServer, I’ve run polls but actually have never run a vote incentive. I’m open to suggestions for either one 🙂
I’m already a regular voter, but a vote incentive (like, some exclusive artwork when you vote) may be a good idea to get more people to vote for Nikki… which would most likely result in more people noticing the comic.
@ Melissa: Aaaw! You had to go and mention the mirroring? I did notice it but it was more fun to just imagine it was Pita getting more than just a little friendly with Nikki. 😉
Yep, Melissa is right -I mirrored the image. Artistically, it’s better to have people on the sides moving in towards the center rather than facing outside towards the edge. But if I had thought of it, I would have added some roaming hands 🙂 …another item to add to the every growing list of things to go back and fix/change. -TK
Yep, perfectly demure outfit for going to your class prof’s household to make a phone call. Yes sir.
Not that I’m complaining, mind! 😉

They have shoulders? Somehow my eyes never made it to that part of the picture …
😉
(Might we see a new vote incentive soon? )
Looks like you had fun with the town. I’d like to see more of that too 🙂

Wow, Nikki has a lot of confidence to be wearing that while driving a scooter. And I love the reflection in Pita’s helmet.

Pita should be a bit more pleased with this assignment 🙂 She’s always hoping for more contact.
