And while I love how the story is developing, I have to wonder if I’m the only one who would find it strange if Nikki actually consented to what Ashley is starting here. We know Ashley has wanted Nikki for quite a while, and with the added effects of Nikki’s recent aura, what Ashley is doing fits perfectly. However, unless Nikki is going through a mental change as well, she should not be ready for this step at this stage.
Yea, I have to admit Melissa is correct, don’t want to but have to. Nikki unless she has changed her mind should stop Ashley. Here’s hoping Nikki’s been affected by the new powers. Since she is super charged at this point she may want to release some of that -ah- tension. Nikki also looks a little out of it, that could be why she is not reacting to Melissa.
Obviously we all read Nikki’s adventures for different reasons, Melissa. But, regardless of age or “sex deprivation,” the main appeal for all of us here is fantasy. Fantasy by its own very subjective nature can mean many, many things. Escape from the mundane, adventure in unreal lands, action, romance and (yes) sex that we can vicariously enjoy through the avatars of fiction. Speaking for myself, I can get just as enthused by the slaying of a ten-foot ogre with an enchanted sword as I can by the potential of mystically-enhanced girl-on-girl action. It’s all in the service fantasy, it’s all safe and healthy and good, and TK has been doing a fine job of supplying it. Let’s steer clear of judgment and just let each of us enjoy Nikki’s adventures for each our own reasons.
Belated Thanksgiving to everyone -speaking of which, thanks very much to Neils for the generous donation, and thank you ALL for the comments/feedback/suggestions.
There are several reasons behind Nikki’s reaction, or lack thereof. First of all, she is exhausted -her dreams leave her feeling as if she has not slept. Mix in a heaping cup of confusion with her fatigue: there has been a lot for her to process in the past few days and she’s having trouble sorting out everything that is happening. Also don’t forget that she and Ashley have been rooming together for a while. Nikki is used to Ashley’s bold advances -page 33 is a good example that she takes these things in stride. Last but not least, maybe, just maybe, part of her wants to give in to the temptation Ashley offers…
Given Nikki’s confusion and current state of mind, I’m not entirely certain whether or not she will decline Ashley this time. But if she does resist, I don’t consider it a fumble. And rest assured that either way, as the story progresses (I know, I know… too slowly) Nikki will find someone who WILL unlock her true passion…
I’m a new reader to this comic. As a story, I have to say, it’s unsual and the art certainly catches my eye. HOWEVER, I noticed there’s a lot of side explanations you need. In essence: Nikki’s excuse for visiting Donelley is a trip to the beach, and her dreams are leaving her exhausted. You NEED to put this into the story. It MUST speak for itself unless there are trivial and COMPLETELY irrelivent bits of information you just feel like sharing. For example, Nikki is wearing a bikini even though she prefers a one piece because Ashley tore up her last one.
I’ve seen ads about this one for a while but since there are way too many webcomics already on my list I have resisted. Until now and I have just read through the archive and I am now re-reading for the comments.
I have to say it’s a great comic, thumbs up. Nice artwork and the story seems promising. Keep it up 😀

PS: in the bottom left picture Nikki’s left (from our view) knee looks a bit too red… as if she got severely bruised there.

Good suggestions Pandora. I’ll try to be more careful about making sure that things that I’ve thought about are brought out better in the story.
