I need to give a special shout-out to Michael S and Chuck A. Thank you both very much for the donations. Your support is greatly appreciated. I’ll be using your contributions to help build traffic to this site by advertising at TopWebComics.com. (I just finished a test ad on TWC during which Nikki Sprite traffic experienced a huge spike. I’m looking forward to doing more.) Again, thanks Michael and Chuck.
Speaking of TWC, they are currently running a cool Radio Supervillain contest. Did you ever have an idea for a villain you’d love to actually hear on a radio-style podcast? Submit your idea for a radio supervillain at topwebcomics.com and read about where you can get hundreds of hours of free audio drama done by the impression cast of Decoder Ring Theatre!
I appreciate the positive feedback that readers have taken the time to post on this webcomic. Comments are unmoderated and posts should appear as soon as they are submitted. However, I use a WordPress spam filter that sometimes inadvertently mistakes a comment or reply as spam and holds it for my approval. It doesn’t happen very often, but sorry to anyone who’s message got stuck in the filter until I released it.
Thanks for stopping by to check out this webcomic. Remember: Nikki is updated every Thursday.
Cheers -TKD

I’ve finally gotten around to rewriting the bios for Nikki, Pita and Ashley in the Cast section. Also, there is a new image in the gallery -which is sure to appeal to readers like elitetrashmob and Lunaroki
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to stop by and view this comic -and especially those of you who are kind enough to leave a comment. Please keep casting your votes by clicking on the Top Web Comics link to the right. Well over half of the referrals to this webcomic come from the Top Web Comics list, where I’m grateful to have moved into the top 100. I appreciate your continued support. -TKD.

I’ve had several questions about how I create the artwork for Nikki Sprite, so I think a description of the process merits a blog entry. This comic is produced entirely through a combination of two software packages: Poser and Photoshop. I use Poser to render 3D images and then run those images through a series of Photoshop actions. For a short visual demonstration of the process, click here.

By request, I’ve added a Join/Login button for anyone who wants to become a member of the site. You can find it in the lower right sidebar. The link will allow you to set up a free member account in the Nikki Sprite WordPress blog.
Also, I’ve added a much better RSS syndicating service thanks to Google’s FeedBurner. You can subscribe to the feed by clicking the RSS button in the top navigation menus.
There is now character information in the Cast section. Clicking on the character’s picture will load their Fact Sheet. As new characters are introduced to the story, their fact sheets will be added to the Cast page.
The main comic pages are now hyperlinks, so you can advance forward through the comic by simply clicking on the big comic image itself.
Last but not least, the Gallery continues to slowly expand. Regular visitors should take a peek every now and then since gallery additions are not normally mentioned anywhere.
As always, thanks for visiting. Cheers – TKD

The internet provides a conduit between artist and audience for all types of work. From painters and designers on DeviantArt.com to comic developers on sites like this one, the web is a perfect vehicle for original content creators to showcase their craft.
Personally, writing has always been my first passion, with 3d design a close second. Someday after the Nikki story is complete, I hope to expand my web portfolio to include more serious creative writing via an online sci-fi novel, Pedestal. I therefore am excited to find authors successfully employing the internet to present their work. Novelist J.C. Hutchins’ latest book is the science fiction thriller 7th Son: Descent. Set in present day, the story features human cloning, dangerous technologies, and “beyond Top Secret” government conspiracies. It started as an online podcast and now is being sold in stores everywhere. Even more exciting than a fellow internet creator bringing his works from the free digital format to the printed page is the fact that he is still publishing everything for free online. If you want to listen to the book for free, read it for free, or even buy the book, check out his site at JCHutchins.net.
