I vote every day even though the updates are weekly.
There’s another comic that is almost in the top ten and it hasn’t updated in over three weeks!
Today’s update was to announce site changes and to say there would be no updates until the first of the year.
@Macska: I hope you aren’t referring to The Dreamland Chronicles. With all due respect to TKD, Scott Sava is just about the nicest guy on the planet, and arguably the hardest working webcomic author on the Internet. He absolutely deserves every vote he receives, even now during one of his extremely rare “breaks” (during which he is writing the final chapters of the story).
As you might imagine, I vote for both The Dreamland Chronicles and Nikki Sprite, along with a dozen or so others, on a semi-regular basis.
Macska and TekServer: first of all, thanks very much for voting. About half of the traffic to this site comes organically. Referrals make up the other 50%. TWC accounts for more than double all other referring sites combined. By far, it is the king of the comic ranking sites, which is why I focus on TWC votes. It was awesome to make a brief appearance in the top 10 at the beginning of the month. But I have to admit that the nudity and suggestive themes in Nikki are not for everyone, so I didn’t expect it to last. I’m happy to still be in the top 20, since Nikki used to hover around 45-50.
Dreamland Chronicles isn’t one of my regular reads, but I do visit it, and the comic is incredibly well done. I have to give props to the creator. His success is well earned. Cheers -TK
I don’t know about others but i have a list of comics that i check daily, even if like this one, they only update once or twice a week. Or in the cases of some, like delve and merceneiress, they’re on hiatus just now. And if they have a twc vote button, it gets clicked. It just so happens that most of the comics i read and vote on seem to hover somewhere in the top 20…
Thanks for the support kheda! Wish I could update more than once a week, but with my work schedule it’s a struggle just to get a new page posted every Thursday…
