You know, TK, I really don’t think it’s dragging at all. It only seems that way because of the rate at which new pages arrive. If you think of this comic as an actual book, we’ve only spent five pages so far on this vital piece of back story. This would fly by if we were reading the completed “book,” but, since we’re waiting for each page in turn, a whole month-plus away from Nikki seems an eternity.
My suggestion is to take your time with this, don’t rush it, but supplement our trip down Terestai’s Memory Lane with new Nikki pinups, incentives, gallery pieces, what have you. That’ll sate us ardent fans ’til we rejoin our favorite heroine.
I agree with Maroon. I’m enjoying this “history lesson” immensly and would also like to see the vote incentives available as wallpapers. Speaking of… Off to do my “civic duty” and vote!

This is very necessary information. This is your story, tell it at your pace. Sure, the readers are important, but we’re here because your story drew us in. Don’t sacrifice the story for our whims.

I love it all, but “back to Nikki” would be good.
